The theme based
assembly was conducted by class-VII section-B on Orissa from 2/9/12 to 7/9/12. On
the first day the state and its industrial development were introduced. On the second day information about the Kalinga
war and its impact on Ashoka was shown. On Thursday famous personalities of
Orissa and their contribution was discussed. On Friday the girls demonstrated a
few steps of the Odissi dance. The dance was made famous by Kelucharan patra.
