During the fourth week of August, 2012 the assembly
was engrossed in enactments of the topics of Chhattisgarh, the rice bowl of Central
India by class VII ‘A’ students.
On day 1 the students presented a brief introduction
of Chhattisgarh, its geographical features and its eminent tourist places.
Day 2 showcased arts and crafts made of excellent
teak wood.
Day 3 had a PowerPoint presentation of traditional
sports of Chhattisgarh wherein cockfight scenes were depicted.
Day 4 had a martial art of Chhattisgarh wherein the
students enacted the sword combating.
Day 5 had the typical village tribal weekly bazaar
scenario in which the students assembled the items which are sold prominently.
Day 6 concluded with a Chhattisgarh dialect by the students.
